CRAFT opens winter "pop-up" gallery in Camden

CRAFT gallery's Rockland home is closed for the winter and will re-open, May 25th, of Memorial Day weekend 2012.

From January 27th to May 1, the CRAFT "pop-up" gallery will be open at 24 Atlantic Avenue in Camden.  Three potters will be show-cased in the vintage 1864 Victorian home of gallery owner, Barbara Michelena, to give collectors and admirers an opportunity to purchase their work.  Each has taken a winter sabbatical to teach, work and exhibit away from their home studios in Maine.  Hanako Kanazato is in Tokyo, Japan; George Pearlman in Vancouver B.C., and Simon van der Ven will be at Anderson Ranch in Snowmass, Colorado.  All will return in the spring to join the many other Maine-based artists at CRAFT gallery in its summer home in the Courtyard at 12 Elm Street in Rockland.
